Golnesa 'GG' Gharachedaghi, 40, has long been seen as a 'rebel' on Shahs of Sunset. The unapologetic reality star continues to march to the beat of her own drum with the launch of her new line of sex toys, Intimately GG.

In an exclusive chat about the new business venture - and the taboo around female masturbation - GG admitted to DailyMail.com that diving into this field was 'a very scary idea at first.'

With a little encouragement from an unlikely place (an ex-boyfriend), the Bravo star ultimately decided that in 2022 it should be totally acceptable to get candid about self-pleasure. In that vein, Golnesa also dished about which of her five new toys was a personal favorite.

Let's talk about sex: Shahs of Sunset star GG Gharachedaghi exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com that the inspiration behind her new line of sex toys was surprisingly her son

Any fan of GG's knows the star is particularly open about the intimate aspects of her life, especially on her no-holds-barred podcast, Genuinely GG. However, getting involved in sex toys did give her pause.

'It was a very scary idea at first,' she admitted. 'I'm a rebel but this is a different form of representing yourself because I have a son now.'

The mother of one decided to move forward with the plan, and in typical GG fashion, her reasons behind that decision were anything but typical.

'My son?' she said in answer to the question of what made her want to create sex toys. She then added with a laugh: 'I can't believe I just said that. But, literally, I think it was when I had my son, I went into this hustle mode.'

GG set out to find a 'serious form of income' and asked herself a few questions: 'What is something everyone needs? What is relatable to me?' Her answer: sex toys

'It was a very scary idea at first,' she admitted. 'I'm a rebel but this is a different form of representing yourself because I have a son now.'

Golnesa welcomed her son, Elijah Javad Gharachedaghi, in April of 2020. The star explained that prior to becoming a mom, she 'never cared a day in my life' to have a job – and never had one until she was cast on Shahs of Sunset.

GG set out to find a 'serious form of income' and asked herself a few questions: 'What is something everyone needs? What is relatable to me?' Her answer: sex toys.

'I'm a single woman, I just had a child on my own – I didn't need the whole physical man, I just needed the parts of him,' she explained.

GG took that idea and ran with it, partnering up with her ex Dennis – whom she is dating again - who happened to be a big distributor in the sex toy industry.

'It shouldn't be taboo,' she declared. 'It's 2022 and I think it's okay to say: 'I masturbate and this is the toy that gets me off.'

The Intimately GG line is launching five signature products this month and the reality star couldn't resist naming one of the vibrators after herself, the aptly titled GG Spot.

'I love the GG Spot by the way,' she added with a knowing smile. 'We all do it, we all need it, we all enjoy it better than a penis and sometimes doing it to yourself, [is better] because we know ourselves better than anyone else.'

Masturbation, she added, has helped a lot of women to not only be more comfortable with themselves but can help improve sex lives with a partner or within their own relationships.

'It shouldn't be taboo,' she declared. 'It's 2022 and I think it's okay to say: 'I masturbate and this is the toy that gets me off.'

The Intimately GG line isn't the first business venture that Gharachedaghi has helmed (she previously launched a cannabis and CBD brand) but it certainly required her to put more of herself out there - literally.

Each of the vibrators - the rabbit, wand, GG Spot, bullet and rose - are packaged in a sleek box with a glamorous, lingerie clad GG pictured on the front. Golnesa called on her seductress side for the brand and struck a series of sultry poses in a matching black lace bra and panty set for the boxes.

Her new line debuts as her long running reality show, Shahs of Sunset, comes to an end after nine seasons.

'Shah's of Sunset will always come back, Shahs of Sunset will always be present, it will always be an entity the exists,' GG mused. 'TV in general has just change in so many ways.'

'I think Shahs was beautiful for what it was doing in the moment. It started getting a little tense and I think some people were just heading in different directions,' she continued. 'And, after 10 years, it's inevitable - It's inevitable that friends fall apart, and it was hard.'

'It was time to just say: 'Hmm, what's next?''

GG revealed to DailyMail.com that things got to a point where she wasn't comfortable running into some of her castmates with cameras rolling. 'You're not comfortable anymore and you just don't even want to show up.'

The Bravo series first premiered in 2012 and followed Persian-Americans living in the Los Angeles area. It put a spotlight on their personal lives and careers while sharing their struggles with living an LA life with parents that want them to stick to their roots.

When rumors started swirling that Shahs was canceled, there was immediate talk about Bravo possibly creating a spin-off with some of the top stars of the series, including GG, MJ Javid and Reza Farahan. Recently, MJ made comments to that same effect but GG played coy when asked about them.

'I have absolutely no idea,' she said of MJ's comments about the possible spin-off. However, while GG claimed she had no knowledge of a show in the works, she did admit that cameras were rolling recently when her food truck launched - with Reza and MJ in tow.
