Coles has released a new Mother's Day 'best buy' that has more than a few customers scratching their heads in amusement.

The Best Buys catalogue advertises a range of Mother's Day buys which are on sale from April 22 until April 28, 2022, while stocks last.

This week some eagle-eyed shoppers turned to page three to find a bizarre-looking 'massage wand' that was meant to be a take on the hugely popular Theragun device that kneads knots out of sore muscles.

The SABA Wand Massager comes in two different colours - pink and grey - and boasts a range of features, including 'quiet' vibration, a waterproof  exterior, and a soft skin-friendly waterproof head.

It can be used for up to an hour before it needs to be recharged.

The wand, which is being advertised as something that can 'help relieve pain and fatigue in joints and muscles', strongly resembles a sex toy that can be purchased online at Love Honey, and plenty of Aussies noticed.

'Damn that's a bargain… I bought mine for $200 from a completely different sort of shop,' one woman wrote on Facebook,

'Yeah.... you expect me to believe women buy these to fix their sore necks!!?' Added one man.

'Prices ain't the only thing going down at Coles,' joked a third.

One customer asked whether Woolworths and Aldi would be following suit with their own line.

'Ok but exactly how quiet? Asking for my neighbours!!' Said one lady.

'Waterproof yeah who's going to be massaging in the shower,' said another.
