Related hashtags such as #kinktestchallenge, #kinkchallenge and #kinktestresults have been viewed more than 500,000 times.

In response to the comment section of the @brimcgreer video, people said: "I have to do it again. Since my last time, I have changed"; "I don't have 100%, but I don't have 0%, I don't know how Feeling"; and "I am 100% transformed"-this means that a person will switch between submissive and dominant behaviors based on context.

Although many TikTok users refer to the test as the "kink test," its official name is the BDSM test, and it has been around for much longer than the latest viral TikTok trend. It was created in 2014 with a mission to produce “a simple, accessible test that helps beginners determine which tags are suitable or not for them, and provide an interesting experience for everyone (beginners and experts).”

The BDSM test has been established in the kink/fetlife community because it can help beginners find out which BDSM prototypes may or may not be theirs.

You may already know what BDSM is through its performance in popular culture (such as Fifty Shades of Grey and Rihanna's S&M video), but this is what it means in real life. BDSM is a general term for sexual behaviors that fall into the categories of restraint/discipline, dominance/obedience, and sadism/masochism. The acronym BDSM can be further divided into the following categories:

Restraint: The act of restricting a partner's freedom of movement with ropes, ties, handcuffs, or other restraints

Discipline: agreed rules and penalties that impose control on the dominant partner over the submissive partner

Dominance: Behavior that shows dominance over the physical partner during sex or outside the bedroom

Obey: Denotes obedience to the behavior and desires of the dominant partner

Sadism: Refers to the pleasure that a partner may feel as a result of inflicting pain

Masochism: Refers to a partner who may feel happy due to suffering

Although BDSM is often misunderstood and misunderstood by the general population, it contains many common fantasies, such as multi-partner sex and trying out power dynamics through role-playing. According to a survey of about 1,000 people published in the Journal of Sex Research in 2016, nearly 47% of women and 60% of men have fantasized about dominating someone sexually.

First, visit bdsmtest.org. You can take the free BDSM test anonymously, or you can share your email and register for an account on the website. Before taking the test, you will be prompted to answer general questions about your age, gender, and sexual orientation. Depending on your interest in BDSM, you can choose a shorter or longer test version. If you already know that this is not your business, you will also get a way to filter out some of the questions for the submissive and the abused or the dominator and the abuser. It takes about a minute to fill out the demographic and basic information questions. Then you can start the test, which takes about 15 minutes to complete.

During the quiz, each question is formatted as a statement. You rate each statement-such as "feeling that the body is overwhelmed is one of the most liberating sexual sensations" or "I want to have sex with multiple people at the same time"-on a 100% basis, on the degree of your agreement Ranking, from "absolutely disagree" to "absolutely agree", the middle option is "neutral/no opinion".

After answering the questions, you will get results in percentage form corresponding to the 26 ranked categories. For example, at the high end, you might get 100% "voyeurism" (people who are satisfied by watching sex) or 80% "conversion."

On the neutral end, you may encounter 50% of "sadists" (people who like to inflict certain types of pain on others in a sexual environment) or 43% of "rope rabbits" (people who like to be tied and restrained) ) Ropes, chains, cuffs, hangers, etc.).

At the low end of this range, you might get 5% of "brat" (a person who jokingly presses their ruler's button in order to be "punished" by their dom) or 2% of "degradee" (like Degraded) and humiliated by their partner in the bedroom). If you are unsure of the meaning of certain terms, the BDSM test includes a page with definitions for each prototype.

Remember, the BDSM test is just for fun. If the results do not show how you feel about sex in real life, please don't get bored with the results. Although the test is often referred to as a perverted version of the Myers-Briggs personality test, neither test is scientific or authoritative. Some people may find that their results are completely representative of them; others may wonder how they got the points they did. Some people may get high scores in categories they have never heard of and then explore on their own. Even so, this may still not be something they like in the bedroom.

Due to the lack of comprehensive sex education in the American education system and the widespread stigma of human sexuality, our society is not the one that knows sex best. However, discussing BDSM on TikTok to the point where the #kinktok hashtag has received 7.2 billion views — not to mention the numerous videos including informative and stupid kinks themes — this fact explains a lot about the concept of generations Turning issues. People have a lot of questions and curiosities about how their bodies get happiness. For many people, Tiktok has become a digital space for in-depth research on sexual self-discovery and positivity.

Unfortunately, Tiktok is not perfect. Due to its community guidelines, many are censored when it comes to any type of sex education, as are social media platforms such as Tumblr, Instagram, and Facebook. If Tiktok’s algorithm detects that a topic is “inappropriate” (many sex education videos fall into this category, although most of them are educational or comedic, rather than explicit), then that particular content may be used The program is restricted, and will get a lower number of views, less likes, less sharing and less participation.

In order to prevent videos from being banned on the app, some TikToker uses misspellings such as "porn" and "sex" and avoids the use of #sex, #sexed or #sexualhealth and other related hashtags. Because "adult nudity and sexual activity" violates TikTok's guidelines, it also puts obscene content at risk of being banned.

There is still a long way to go before we have a truly sexually positive society, but it is gratifying to see young millennials and Gen Z proudly fighting back and continuing to revolutionize the way our society discusses sex of. They are tired of not being able to talk about topics that are indispensable to human experience, so they are creating safe spaces to discuss sexual topics publicly. By doing so, they not only gained more knowledge about their own happiness, but also helped to eliminate the topic of human sexual behavior that many people still consider taboo-one BDSM test at a time.
