We-Vibe Chorus is a sex toy for couples controlled by an app, known as the brand's most intuitive device. Does it really work? This is our review

The husband and wife team behind We-Vibe specializes in producing sex toys for couples and provides a series of high-end products. These products promise great, but the key connection problem means that its most expensive application operating device, Chorus, does not always sing in harmony.

Problematic interests for both parties

We-Vibe Chorus is a smart couple toy. The brand claims that it is "the only remote control couple toy that really knows you". And with some unique features, such as its motion response function Touch-sense, people have high hopes for the advancement of sex toy technology.

Chorus can be used alone, by people with a vulva, or by heterosexual couples as part of vaginal penile (PIV) sex. But can it really be one of the best vibrators and one of the best sex toys for men?

App-controlled toys became more and more popular during the lock-in period, when the forced separation between husband and wife sparked a sales boom. Features including controlling intensity settings and modes provide long-distance couples with the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of a sexual connection, even if they are in different cities, countries, or even continents (as long as you have a smartphone and WiFi).

We-Vibe was launched in 2003 by Bruce and Melody Murison. Its products are geared towards the high-end market of the sex toy market. Although the company produces everything from prostate massagers to magic wands, it is best known for sex toys for type C couples, such as Chorus, which ranks among the best in the product series. Best sellers unite, synchronize and match.

So, can Chorus really do it? I took a test to find out. Please continue reading my We-Vibe Chorus review.

Chorus is a dual-purpose vibrator with a hook-shaped C-shaped design. The larger arm is located above the clitoris, and the thinner flat arm is located in the vagina to stimulate the G-spot. Its structure is compact, it can also be bent, and it can be operated according to the needs of the wearer. This is a cute-looking device, made of super soft body-safe silicone, it feels very comfortable, and it is equipped with a very neat charging and storage solution.

The toy can be operated via the app, We-Connect or the included remote control. There are 10 settings, ranging from "low" (almost whispering) to "surfing", and each setting can be increased in intensity via the "up" and "down" buttons on the remote control or via We-Connect. In addition, there are three touch-sensitive modes to choose from. These modes are triggered by the receiver located under the We-Vibe logo on the toy, and respond when your partner pushes it; it’s worth noting that this feature can only be accessed through the app The program operates.

In addition to buttons for controlling mode, intensity and on/off, the remote control also has a unique squeeze function. Hold it tightly, vibrate strongly, and relax your grip.

We-Vibe has a wide range of settings. Although it is not the strongest vibration, there are many changes. The fact that toys are malleable is a forward-looking and highly appreciated feature of Canadians, and the squeezable remote control is definitely a boon at high-intensity moments. The clitoris arm is well-designed, so it will be a selling point for those who like to be stimulated externally during insertion.

Unfortunately, Chorus has a flaw, which makes me think of it as an app-controlled sex toy. The initial connection is troublesome. Bluetooth, toys, and phones are repeatedly turned on and off before establishing a connection. Then the connection is lost. The connection has been re-established. Loss of connection, wait... The forum tells me this is not uncommon.

According to the We-Vibe troubleshooting guide, Bluetooth does not like the fact that humans contain a lot of water, so operating We-Connect will malfunction when a toy is inserted. In my experience, no matter where it is placed, it will fail. With its unique function, Touch-sense can only be operated through the app, so if you are not connected, you cannot access it.

As a couple's toy, Chorus is intended to be used to bring pleasure to both parties during heterosexual intercourse-therefore, the smaller arm that pushes the toy into the vagina to hold the toy in place is also intended to stimulate the penis during PIV sex. I suggest that its design focuses mainly on the pleasure of the clitoral owner. Participants who had a penis who reported experiencing pleasant but mild vibrations had less benefit. It is worth noting here that in terms of fit and comfort, this is a toy and should not be used if there is no bottle of lubricant nearby.

App-controlled sex toys have a lot of space, and there is already a good choice, including app-controlled love eggs, clitoral stimulators, rabbits and prostate massagers. It will be exciting to see We-Vibe and other directions Of sex toy manufacturers take the next step.

The Chorus is a well-designed toy, suitable for couples who play in the same room and masturbate alone. It is very comfortable to use, and has a wide range of settings and some unique features, such as a squeezable remote control. However, if an APP-controlled sex toy cannot maintain a good Bluetooth connection, then its modus operandi will be weakened and its ambitions will be somewhat outdated. This is a high-end toy, and at this price, you should expect a good connection.
