The Count has amassed over 50 cool cars in his garage over the years, but here are 10 he's never letting go.

Danny “The Count” Koker is the owner of Count's Kustoms and the host of the hit TV show Counting Cars. Danny's love for all things automotive started at the age of eight when his dad bought him his first motorcycle. With most of his relatives working at Ford Motor Co., he had the opportunity of being around lots of hot rods and cool cars. Also, with automotive dexterity running in Koker's bloodline, it's not surprising that he's a self-taught mechanic.

As of 2022, Koker boasts over 58 cars in his garage. In his interview with The Globe And Mail Danny Koker states that he loves all kinds of vehicles, from classic muscle cars to exotic motorcycles. The TV host and customizer looks for what a car can truly be rather than what it presently looks like. Let's take a look at some of Danny Koker's favorite cars in his collection.

Danny Koker drives a 1956 Chevrolet Stepside pickup on the set of Counting Cars. The pickup is a real workhorse that has been used for towing bike trailers, but it was a little beat up when Koker first got it nearly two decades ago.

To bring the Chevy Stepside back to life, Danny equipped it with a 383-stroker small-block engine that spits out nearly 500 horsepower backed up by a 4-speed automatic transmission. The Chevy Stepside is wrapped in satin black and red flames that bring out its true beauty.

Cadillac completely restyled the Fleetwood Brougham in 1965, redesigning every line and contour to make it more luxurious and elegant than ever before. The large size and rear styling of the Fleetwood sedan distinguished it from the DeVille, which Danny also owns.

Koker claims to have a soft spot for big Cadillacs, so it's no surprise that his daily driver is the 1965 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. The land yacht sports an all-black fur interior and white exterior, which Danny says brings back memories of his childhood. The '65 Fleetwood Brougham gets its power from a 7.0-liter V8 that makes 340 hp.

The 1932 Ford Roadster was released in the middle of the Great Depression, but thankfully it quickly evolved into a practical, affordable means of transportation to help Americans get through the tough times. Ford made about 12,597 Roadsters, and they came with a V8 as well as black fenders and wire wheels.

The Ford Roadsters are very popular among hot rodders who tear them up for all kinds of builds, and Danny says it's one of his most prized collectibles. Koker has had the Ford Roadster since the early '80s and has no intention of selling it.

The 1966 Shelby Mustang GT350 is another car in Danny's collection that holds a lot of sentimental value to the reality TV star because it's his first-ever car, which his father bought when he was just nine. The Mustang GT350 was an unabashed track-ready racer, but Carroll Shelby wanted it to be more of a daily driver that's still standard in performance.

The major addition to the '66 Shelby GT350 was the foldable rear seat. The 289 c.i. V8 of the 1966 GT350 made up to 306 hp and 329 ft-lb of torque, which was very impressive at the time.

The 1969 Cadillac DeVille is a masterpiece in terms of luxury, performance, and style. Cadillac built over 163,048 DeVilles for the 1969 production run and one of them eventually found its way to Koker's garage.

Danny's land yacht received a stunning custom pain treatment on top of its restoration.

Carroll Shelby combined Ford V8s with the AC Ace bodies to bring the iconic Shelby AC Cobra to life in 1962. The lightweight chassis coupled with the minimalist body made for a very light sports car.

Just like the Mustang GT350, the 1966 Shelby 427 AC Cobra holds a great deal of sentimental value for Danny, as it was the first car he bought with his dad. According to Koker, the AC Cobra is one of his favorite cars, and it's going nowhere.

Even though Plymouth redesigned the Satellite for 1971, just two years later it came with some noteworthy improvements like the new bumpers and more conventional front-end design. The Satellite Sebring is one of the few cars Koker wished never sold.

Danny had no intention of selling the Plymouth Satellite Sebring after completely restoring it, but after he was offered double the price, he had to let it go. While the Plymouth Satellite Sebring is not exactly a sexy car, it's fun to drive even to this day.

Carroll Shelby designed and engineered the Shelby Series 1 from the ground up, so it's really special to him and Danny Koker, unlike other Shelbys that Carroll simply modified once the manufacturers are done. Power comes from an Oldsmobile's 4.0-liter Aurora V8 DOHC engine with a rating of 320 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque.

A total of 249 Shelby Series 1s were made, so it's quite difficult to find one lying around today. Danny grabbed a Shelby Series 1 for about $115,000, making it one of the most expensive cars he ever bought.

The 1973 Buick Riviera features one of the craziest paint jobs ever done by Danny and his Count's Kustoms team. The boattail Riviera was fitted with a set of BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall radial tires and mounted on a set of chrome Supreme wheels.

The mechanicals of the 1973 Riviera remained largely the same as the 1971 model, but then stricter emissions controls negatively affected the big engine's output, putting it at 250 hp for 1973.

Danny and his crew gave the 1968 Dodge Charger some really extreme restoration, and it turned out to be drop-dead gorgeous. The custom '68 Charger works with a brand new 392 HEMI V8 and 5-speed automatic transmission to make long-distance drives a breeze. It might still look like a 60s Charger but actually drives like a 2020.

Everything from the one-of-a-kind dashboard to the leather-wrapped trunk and dark paint job that gleams in the sun speaks of the amount of work that went into making this Charger a true masterpiece.
