During the June 5 episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss gifted the Atlanta Housewives with vibrating panties during a trip to New York City. While Kandi, Drew Sidora, and Sanya Richards-Ross donned the remote-controlled underwear for a night out, some of the other ladies, including Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton, were less inclined.

After Kandi attempted to see if Marlo could feel the vibrations, the women realized Marlo didn't have the underwear on after all. While Marlo didn't tell the ladies why she opted not to wear the panties during the episode, she did reveal her reasoning when she stopped by the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Clubhouse on June 12. After the titular host tried on a pair of vibrating underwear for himself (which Marlo had the authority of), he wondered, "By the way, you know, I just wore those vibrating panties which I surrendered control to Marlo — what was your reaction to Kandi giving out those vibrating panties in New York? Were you as annoyed by it as Kenya was?"

"I was annoyed just because there were other married men," Marlo explained.

Fellow WWHL guest, Joel Kim Booster, chimed in, noting, "The [remote] control being able to control any of them felt insane." Marlo agreed, saying, "Right?" 

Marlo went on to explain that she liked being in charge of Andy's underwear as opposed to someone being in control of hers. "I had you weak," Marlo told Andy. "I like that."

Andy's response: "I was your bitch, Marlo."
