When looking at today’s MLB player prop board of Major League Baseball action over on Underdog Fantasy a lot of props look tasty and ready to be attacked. MLB strikeout props for Justin Verlander and Jameson Taillon jump off the page as they will be popular on Underdog as well as in many MLB DFS lineups today. On offense, Mike Trout is back in a big way making his total base prop attractive so make sure to keep an eye on the MLB weather report and MLB Lineups before locking in your favorite props. Here are the top MLB Underdog Fantasy Props for Sunday, June 12th…

Verlander is coming off striking out a season-high 12 Seattle Mariners while recording his eighth quality start of the year. Over his last five starts, his strikeout rate is 28.9% with a 10.5 K/9 rate and he has an 11.2% swinging-strike rate and 26.2% CSW on the season.

He gets a nice matchup in a pitcher-friendly park against the Miami Marlins today who are striking out at a 22.6% rate to right-handed pitching. The Marlins order is weak at the bottom today and expect to see Verlander go at least seven innings and hit his 6.5 K prop.

Taillon has been solid this season. He has posted a 2.30 ERA and a 0.90 WHIP with a 44:5 K:BB rate over 58.2 innings. He can go deep into games with over 90 pitches in three of his last four starts. Taillon has also struck out at least five batters in three of his last four starts and has a 0.84 WHIP over his last five.\

He is facing a weak Cubs lineup that will strike out a slate high  26.4% to right-handed pitching with a 13.1 SwSTr% and 28.2 Whf/Sw%. Take the over on Taillon strikeouts today.

Wright is in the middle of a breakout season. He is finally putting it all together and has a 2.39 ERA and 1.02 WHIP while striking out 71 batters across 67 innings pitched. He is even pitching better as of late with three wins over his last five starts and a 2.81 FIP/1.69 ERA and a 26% strikeout rate. He has gone over 100 pitches in his last two starts and today gets a Pirate lineup that is striking out 24.7% to right-handed pitching with a low .140 ISO/.289wOBA. The Pirates are  29th in the league in runs scored, 28th in team OPS, and 27th in wOBA and with Wright being a huge favorite (-250) 18 pitching outs should be a very reasonable prop for him to attain.

Trout is back! In his first game back after sitting three days with left groin tightness, he had a double-dong night and finished with three hits and three RBIs. Trout is hitting .290 on the season and that is even after a week-long slump last week. He has 16 HR/33 RBI with a .348 ISO/.433wOBA on the season making him a favorite prop play every single night.
